Florida's fourth commitment from its 2015 iteration of Friday Night Lights is now out in the open: Alabama linebacker Jeremiah Moon has committed to the Gators, as first reported by 247Sports' Luke Stampini.
God is awesome! I am officially committed to the University of Florida! #ChompChomp pic.twitter.com/wsalUQiTuV

Moon visited Florida for Friday Night Lights and was widely predicted to leave Gainesville as a Gator — especially given that Florida coach Jim McElwain sent a tweet with four uses of the #ChompChomp hashtag that Gators coaches use to signify commitments:
#ChompChomp #ChompChomp #ChompChomp #ChompChomp!!!!!!!!!!!

Florida commits Chauncey Gardner and Tyrek Tisdale also each tweeted about "21 commits" on Friday night — a number that could only be reached by adding another commit to the 16 public commits for the 2016 cycle and four public commits for the 2017 cycle that Florida appeared to have on Friday night.
Moon would seem to have been the missing man. And the four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite, a rangy (6'4", 200 pounds) linebacker who could be an asset in both coverage and run support, is a fine pickup for Florida.
The Gators will lose Antonio Morrison and graduate transfer Anthony Harrell after the 2015 season, at minimum, and could potentially lose Jarrad Davis if he has a fantastic year. The latter scenario would leave Florida with just five scholarship linebackers in 2016 — two of whom (Jeremi Powell and Matt Rolin) have suffered torn ACLs in their careers. Adding Moon (and fellow linebacker commit Vosean Joseph) would rectify much of the pressing depth concerns at the position, though there's still certainly space for one or two more linebackers in this recruiting class.
Moon is Florida's 17th commit for the 2015 recruiting cycle, and becomes just the third 247Sports Composite four-star player to pledge to the Gators.
