Vernon Hargreaves named to the SB Nation full-season All-America team

One final honor for the stud corner as he makes his way to the NFL.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Vernon Hargreaves had an outstanding season and an outstanding career for the Florida Gators. Now he will cap it off by being named to the SB Nation All-America team, which is different from other All-America teams in that it is formed after bowl season. Hargreaves joins Iowa's Desmond King as the team's cornerbacks, beating out Florida State's Jalen Ramsey and Michigan's Jourdan Lewis.

Here's what SB Nation had to say about Hargreaves:

Vernon Hargreaves III worked against elite receivers all season long and finished with four interceptions. And there was that time he danced his way into an INT while the Gators were shocking Ole Miss.

This latest honor from SB Nation is yet another addition to Hargreaves' extensive list of accolades as a result of the 2015 season.

He was also named a first team All-American by the Walter Camp Foundation, the AFCA, the Associated Press, the FWAA, Sporting News, CBSSports.com and Phil Steele. He was named a second team All-American by Sports Illustrated. He was named to the All-SEC first team by the SEC coaches, the Associated Press, ESPN, Athlon and Phil Steele. He was named to the All-SEC second team by GridIron Now. He was also named a finalist for the Jim Thorpe award, given to the top defensive back in the country, as well as a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik award, given to the top overall defensive player.

Congratulations on yet another honor, Vernon. Florida Gator fans will miss you next season.
