Florida prepares for final recruiting weekend: The Gators haven't had much luck on the trail in the last two weeks, with Nick Eubanks and Mack Wilson each making their plans to go elsewhere known on Thursday, but it has a chance to make up for that this weekend. Top-tier prospects Kristian Fulton and Tyrie Cleveland are expected on campus, as is graduate transfer Rhode Island offensive lineman Tyler Catalina. And a slew of Florida commits should be in attendance, too, while the Gators also host a junior day to jump-start their work for the 2017 cycle.
If Florida can land Fulton and Cleveland, as seems somewhat possible, that's still a fine close to a recruiting class that should land among the nation's top 10. If it can't land at least one of the two, the Gators will look back at the last four months and wonder what might have been. (Graham Hall, The Gainesville Sun)
Gators positioned well with Cleveland: After a season of all sorts of flirtations with top wide receivers, Florida's biggest catch may just be a longtime Gators fan who grew up in Jacksonville. (Zach Abolverdi, SEC Country)
Jake McGee grateful for time at Florida: And especially for Jeremy Foley going the extra mile. (Nick De La Torre, Gator Country)
Gators swim teams look to extend Tennessee streaks: #NotJustFootball (Sean Doty, The Independent Florida Alligator)
Are video games just stages for violence? This was an interesting read. (Tauriq Moosa, Polygon)
