Injury list for South Carolina game: Luke Del Rio will be out. Mark Herndon and Cameron Dillard will be out. Tyrie Cleveland and Chris Thompson are highly questionable, and CeCe Jefferson will be a game-time decision. Alex Anzalone is out for the season. Jarrad Davis will “probably be out” against South Carolina. (Zach Abolverdi, SEC Country; Andrew Spivey, Gator Country)
UF releases depth-chart for South Carolina: At quarterback, there is an alphabetical listing of all three players (Austin Appleby or Feleipe Franks or Kyle Trask). Ahmad Fulwood is listed at X-receiver, as Tyrie Cleveland is questionable to play. Tyler Jordan is listed at center, for what will be his first career start at that position, and Fred Johnson is listed at right guard. Daniel McMillian, David Reese, Kylan Johnson and Vosean Joseph are listed at various starting linebacker positions. (Will Pantages, Florida Gators)
Defensive communication will be tested: If both Alex Anzalone and Jarrad Davis are out - which seems very likely - freshmen will make up the majority of the Gators’ linebacker rotation. Davis and Anzalone are the Gators’ top two tacklers, combining for 109 tackles so far this season. (Ryan Young, SEC Country)
