Florida may get some injured players back for the bowl game: Jim McElwain said that there was a chance that Luke Del Rio and Alex Anzalone could be available to play in the Outback Bowl. He noted that he would be able to provide more injury updates once practices start in Tampa next week, including the status of Jarrad Davis. Randy Shannon officially named interim defensive coordinator for Outback Bowl: The move was already heavily reported, but Jim McElwain officially announced it on Monday. As previously reported, Mark DeBastiani, a defensive quality control assistant, will coach linebackers for the bowl.
