John Egbunu to have surgery, miss rest of NIT: This isn't a surprise, and I mentioned it in the recap late last night, but in the (likely) case you missed that: Egbunu is having surgery on his injured right thumb on Thursday, ending his season. As for why Egbunu was able to play for a week after injuring the thumb? Florida's line is that it took this long to schedule the surgery. If you, too, are making a note to not get injured to the point of needing immediate orthopedic surgery in Gainesville, I don't blame you. (Chris Harry, Florida Gators)
Florida blanks FSU at McKethan: More on this (and a sort of big-picture baseball piece) later today. (John Hines, Florida Gators)
Alligator Army bracket challenge: It's forthcoming by the afternoon. No prizes but pride this year.
Spring football roundup: Probably coming Thursday?
Open thread: Coming mid-morning.
Jim McElwain overhauling support staff: Again, gonna try to do some research and put together a table for this later in the week. (Scott Carter, Florida Gators)
Rowdies are student section of the year: Basically meaning they galvanized a lot of Internet votes, but still cool — and with a $1,000 prize. (Chris Harry, Florida Gators)

Another cool note: Florida is 6-1 against those other three teams in the NCAA Tournament, and is obviously the only team to have beaten Florida Gulf Coast in an NCAA Tournament.
Best wishes to #PeytonManning as he ends his incredible playing career, one where he never beat the @FloridaGators! https://t.co/EXK9mnDfTj
