Gators preparing for SEC Tournament: Florida takes its .500 conference record into the SEC Tournament on Thursday. The No. 8 seed Gators will play the No. 9 seed Arkansas Razorbacks. The Gators would have to make it far into the tournament against the SEC's top teams in order to have a shot at making the NCAA Tournament. Florida coaches set spring speaking tour dates: Florida football head coach Jim McElwain will make nine appearances on this year's speaking tour. Florida basketball head coach Mike White will make four appearances. Four football assistant coaches will also make stops. McElwain and White's appearances are set, while the assistant coaches' dates will be announced later.
