Florida softball blanked by Georgia; drop Game 1 of Super Regional: Bulldogs senior pitcher Chelsea Wilkinson became the second pitcher this season to shut out Florida. A No. 1 seed has never had to win the final two games of a Super Regional, but that is what the Gators will have to do in order to keep their chance at a three-peat alive. And while that situation is an unusual one for a one-seed to be in, 14 teams have advanced out of Super Regionals (which started in 2005) by winning their final two games. Game two is today at 5:00 p.m. If Florida wins, the decisive third game would be played at 8:00 p.m. (Graham Hays, ESPNWPat Dooley, Gainesville SunWill Pantages, Florida GatorsChris Harry, Florida Gators)

Florida baseball advances past Alabama: Facing elimination, the fourth-seeded Gators edged ninth-seed Alabama to move on in the SEC tournament. Freshman Danny Reyes hit a run-scoring double in the eighth to lift Florida to the 5-4 win. Tonight, the Gators will face No. 1 seed Mississippi State, who was just defeated 6-2 by LSU. UF men's golf team tees off at NCAA Championship today: The Gators will seek their fifth national championship title in program history, having previously won it all in 1968, 1973, 1993, and 2001. (Emily Padgett, Florida Gators)

Gator fans interested in kicker Eddy Pineiro: Jim McElwain notes that fans at all of his speaking tour stops have been interested in hearing about Florida's new kicker, and the unusualness of that. It was also pointed out that Florida has not blocked a kick in 36 games. (Robbie Andreu, Gainesville Sun)

Ryan Sousa transferring to Southern Illinois: The sophomore announced his intention to transfer earlier this month. (Thomas Goldkamp, 247 Sports)

Dominique Easley signing with L.A. Rams: Easley was waived by the Patriots last month. Easley and the Rams have agreed to a one-year deal. (ESPNChris Wesseling, NFL News)
