Times announced for first three Gator football games: Florida will open the season against UMass on September 3rd at 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network. As previously announced, Florida's game against Kentucky on September 10th will be played at 3:30 p.m. and televised on CBS. The Gators' third game of the season, against North Texas, will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and be shown on ESPNU. Times and network designations for 30 SEC games were announced. Florida holds edge over Florida State in baseball postseason: The Gators will host the Seminoles this weekend in a Super Regional. It will be the second Super Regional match-up between the two in a row and the third in 12 years. Florida swept the regular season series this year and has defeated FSU in 10 of their last 12 meetings. But the Seminoles do hold the overall edge in the rivalry, 127-110-1. Logan Shore and Peter Alonso named All-Americans: Shore was named to the first team and Alonso made the the third team. Shore was also named the 2016 SEC Pitcher of the Year while Alonso earned Gainesville Regional MVP. (Daniel Apple, Florida Gators)

Former Florida gymnast Lauren Rose joins Cirque du Soleil show: Rose will perform in the touring show "Amaluna," which is currently touring across Europe. Rose will join another former Gator, Marissa King, who began performing in the show in late 2014. (Layne Weitzel, Florida Gators)

UF updates clear bag policy: As mentioned in a previous CAB, UF recently adopted a policy regarding the size and types of bags that can be brought into Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The size of the bag has changed since that policy was released. A bag must still be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC, but cannot exceed 12"x6"x12" (it was previously announced as 18"x6"x18") and cannot have a logo larger than 4.5"x3.4" displayed on one side.
