Incoming freshman center Gorjok Gak cleared to enroll, but not to play: The NCAA ruled that Gak will be able to enroll at UF but not be able to play during his 2016-17 freshman season. He can still practice and take part in non-game basketball activities. If he is able to meet his progress marks this year, he will be cleared to play for the 2017-18 season with three seasons of eligibility left. Gak committed to the Gators in April.
