Florida track and field freshmen earn SEC weekly honors: Clayton Brown was named Men’s Freshman of the Week and Grant Holloway was named Men’s Co-Field Athlete of the Week. Holloway had three of the nation’s top five marks in his collegiate long jump debut and won the 60 hurdles final, tying for the fastest time nationally last week. Brown’s triple jump debut made him the only collegian since 2002 to clear 2.25 meters and eclipse 16.30 meters in the triple jump during the same indoor season. (Zach Dirlam, Florida Gators)
