On defense, Jabari Zuniga was added to the injury report - he injured his ankle in practice but Jim McElwain hopes he will be ready to go. Brett Heggie continues to be in concussion protocol, Nick Washington remains out, and Duke Dawson has been sick. (Robbie Andreu, Gainesville Sun; Ryan Young, SEC Country)

Former Gator RBs Mon Williams and D.J. Johnson pass away: Williams, a member of Florida’s 2006 and 2008 national championship teams, died in Texas last Thursday at the age of 31. Johnson, who played for the Gators in the 1970s, died on Sunday. (Scott Carter, Florida Gators)

Jacob Copeland still solid to Florida: The UF wide receiver commit has been taking visits to Alabama but was in Gainesville for homecoming. He isn’t worried about that loss, noting that there were many freshmen on the field for Florida and that the Gators were missing their two best receivers. (Zach Abolverdi, SEC Country)
