Gators remain at No. 21 in latest AP poll; No. 20 in coaches’ poll: Florida’s positioning remains unchanged in both major polls after Saturday’s win. In other poll news, Georgia scooted up to No. 5/6 after shutting out Tennessee, and LSU tumbles out of the polls after their homecoming loss to Troy. Four sunshine state schools are in the rankings - No. 13/12 Miami, No. 18/16 USF, No. 21/20 Florida, and No. 25 UCF. (Scott Carter, Florida Gators; Jordan McPherson, SEC Country)

More on Malik Davis’ strong start: The freshman phenom currently leads the Gators in rushing. Florida has not had a first-year freshman lead the team in rushing for an entire season since 1994 when Fred Taylor did it, and have not had a first-year freshman rush for 1,000 yards since Emmitt Smith in 1987 — not to say that Davis will necessarily reach those heights. (Ryan Young, SEC Country)

Gators to remain aggressive on fourth down: Florida was 3-for-3 on fourth down conversions on Saturday, and were 3-for-4 the week before. Feleipe Franks recounts that Jim McElwain’s decisions to go for it invigorate the offense. (Ryan Young, SEC Country)

SEC Nation traveling to Gainesville for Florida vs. LSU: Tim Tebow, Paul Finebaum, and the crew will be live at the Plaza of the Americas from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Will Pantages, Florida Gators)

Florida volleyball becomes nation’s lone unbeaten: The Gators swept LSU on Sunday, and are off to one of their best starts in program history. (Zach Dirlam, Florida Gators)

Tight end Moral Stephens shows up for Gators: The sparingly used redshirt junior tight end doubled his career reception total on one drive against Vanderbilt. (Graham Hall, Gainesville Sun)

Tyrie Cleveland posts update after injury: Florida’s sophomore wide receiver left in the third quarter of the Gators’ victory over Vandy. He posted on Twitter that he was “good” and “just bang(ed) up.” (Andrew Astleford, SEC Country)

Future Gator updates: Florida quarterback commit Matt Corral threw for 457 yards and scored seven touchdowns this week. Corral is expected to be in The Swamp for Florida’s homecoming game this weekend. Also included are updates on Jacob Copeland and Iverson Clement. (Zach Abolverdi, SEC Country)

UF soccer picks up win over Georgia: Florida notched a 3-0 victory over the Bulldogs in Athens on Sunday. (Jim Harvin, Gainesville Sun)
