Week six in college football brings some significant showdowns, a few rivalries, and a fair helping of what should be rather one-sided match-ups.

The Florida Gators host the LSU Tigers for homecoming this afternoon, at 3:30 p.m., on CBS. That afternoon time slot features the bigger - and likely more competitive - games of the day, but there are plenty of other options in the early and evening shifts to watch.

Feel free to hang out in this thread while watching any of today’s games.

Here are our picks for today’s viewing windows:

Early (12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Eastern)

Georgia at Vanderbilt (12:00 p.m., ESPN/WatchESPN): The Commodores continue their unenviable scheduling grind by facing their third consecutive top-25 team when the Bulldogs come to town. Vanderbilt was run over by top-ranked Alabama at home, bested by Florida on the road, and now will attempt to compete with undefeated No. 5 Georgia. The Bulldogs have outscored their two SEC opponents this season by a combined 69 points, allowing just three points to be scored on them in that two-game span.

Wake Forest at Clemson (12:00 p.m., ESPN2/WatchESPN): The Demon Deacons nearly pulled the upset on Florida State last week and now travel to take on an even taller task. Undefeated No. 2 Clemson is on a roll, but Wake has a solid defense and could give the Tigers some trouble if the early kick contributes to a slow start.

Penn State at Northwestern (12:00 p.m., ABC/WatchESPN): Like the other games listed before, this is another noon contest that figures to be rather one-sided. Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald has never lost to James Franklin’s Nittany Lions, but that seems likely to change today. No. 4 Penn State hopes to improve to 6-0 with a win over the Wildcats. Watch this one for Nittany Lions running back and Heisman Trophy frontrunner Saquon Barkley.

In other games: Ole Miss visits Auburn at noon, hoping to avoid another flattening by a team from the Yellowhammer State, while the Tigers look for another victory over the Magnolia State. In continuing the midday theme of potentially lopsided games, Iowa State also plays at Oklahoma at noon.

Afternoon (3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern)

Obviously you will be watching Florida host LSU for homecoming, at 3:30 p.m., on CBS.

In other games: I know we’ll be watching the Gators, but there are two other big games in Florida’s time slot today - the rescheduled meeting between No. 13 Miami and unranked Florida State, and the College GameDay showdown between No. 23 West Virginia at No. 8 TCU.

Evening (7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern)

Alabama at Texas A&M (7:15 p.m., ESPN/WatchESPN): The No. 1 Crimson Tide are nearly four touchdown favorites over the Aggies after crushing their first two league opponents. Since dropping their opener to UCLA, Texas A&M has embarked on a four-game win streak and shown some improvement. Watch this one to scout the Aggies for next week, I suppose.

Michigan State at Michigan (7:30 p.m., ABC/WatchESPN): The rivalry between the No. 7 Wolverines and the Spartans will likely be a defensive battle as both have top-five ranked defenses. If you enjoy watching teams struggle to score points, then this may be the one to watch.

Washington State at Oregon (8:00 p.m., FOX): The undefeated No. 11 Cougars, fresh off upsetting then-No. 3 USC, head to Eugene. The Ducks are down their starting quarterback and dealing with other injuries. WSU is known for their offense under Mike Leach, but the Cougars have been surprisingly good on defense this season - and have a defensive lineman named Hercules - helping them to a great start and their highest ranking since 2003.

In other games: The undefeated No. 25 UCF Knights try to continue their winning streak at Cincinnati, at 8:00 p.m.; and California visits Washington in the late shift at 10:45 p.m.

And here’s your schedule table.
