Florida men’s basketball extends win streak to five: They say defense travels, and the Gators played marvelous defense in the second half against Georgia yesterday. Florida is also now in a three-way tie atop the SEC standings (with South Carolina and Kentucky) by virtue of the Gamecocks being upset by Alabama last night in quadruple overtime. Chris Chiozza, the reigning SEC Player of the Week, also had another good game for the Gators. Cheese led four Florida scorers in double digits with 15 points.
