Gator softball clinches series with Georgia: Florida picked up two wins against the Bulldogs at home this weekend, clinching the three-game series. The Gators shut out the ‘Dawgs, 5-0, on Saturday. It was Florida’s first shut out of Georgia since 2013. Yesterday, the Gators clinched their fifth SEC series of the season with a 4-1 win. The final game of the series will be played tonight, at 7:00 p.m. (Herb Brooks, Florida Gators)

Florida baseball avoids being swept by Tennessee: Sunday’s victory over the Vols stopped the Gators from going 0-3 in this weekend’s series. Tennessee knocked off Florida, 7-6, in ten innings on Friday to start the series. The Vols followed that up on Saturday by against besting the Gators in ten innings, this time in a 3-2 victory. Florida rebounded yesterday to avoid the sweep, and this time it was the Gators who picked up the one point victory in a 5-4 win. (Daniel Apple, Florida Gators)
