No. 3 Florida softball takes down No. 1 Florida State: The Gators defeated their 16th ranked opponent of the season with their 1-0 victory over the ‘Noles. Kayli Kvistad drove home Justine McLean in the only, and most important, run of the evening in the seventh. The Gators got the best of the Seminoles in front of a record crowd of 2,547, and shut out FSU for the first time in 29 games. That’s also Florida’s ninth shut out of a top-25 opponent this season.
