The Florida Gators kept adding to their scintillating 2019 recruiting class on Wednesday night, adding safety Marcus Tillman Jr. to the fold.

Tillman is a safety in his Twitter bio and on the field for his (Orlando) Jones High Tigers, but he could be either a linebacker or a safety at the next level; 247Sports lists him as an outside linebacker on his profile, which also shows him as not yet rated. (His highlights show him lining up as a rush linebacker often, which lends credence to the theory tha the could be a linebacker in college.) That probably means Tillman won’t initially have much esteem in recruiting services’ eyes, though it also means there’s no first impression of him to be overcome.
Tillman is also lightly recruited, though 247Sports indicates he had offers from Kentucky and Ole Miss, and drew interest from Ohio State.
Tillman is the ninth commit for Florida’s 2019 recruiting class, which remains No. 1 nationally — and under 20 months from National Signing Day for that cycle, too!
