With seconds left, the Florida Gators didn’t seem like they had just seconds left.
After a scramble by Feleipe Franks to get the Gators into range for a deep throw — or something, maybe — Florida failed to call a timeout until just nine ticks were left on the clock. It was exasperating, it was unthinkable, it was stupid, and it was a sign that the Gators were going to overtime with Tennessee in a 20-20 game that had as many ups as downs.
Except: That didn’t happen. This did.

With a mighty flick of the wrist, Franks found Tyrie Cleveland streaking behind the Tennessee defense and into the end zone for a 63-yard touchdown as time expired. With that touchdown, Florida’s second of the season from its offense, Florida defeated Tennessee in dramatic fashion for the second time in three years.
Without a doubt, we saw the greatest play ever in The Swamp this evening.
