Cece Jefferson named SEC Defensive Player of the Week: “Carl,” as Jim McElwain would call him, notched five tackles and had a career-best 1.5 sacks for a loss of five yards in the Gators’ win at Kentucky. The sacks came on back-to-back plays in the second quarter, backing up Kentucky to Florida's 29-yard line. Those sacks helped move back one of the Wildcats’ field goal attempts.
