Four Gators returning from suspension: Jordan Scarlett, Rick Wells, Ventrell Miller, and James Houston are enrolled at UF and returning to the team. Keivonnis Davis is enrolled in classes, but has not been cleared to return to the team yet and reportedly has potential complications from a serious scooter accident last fall. The four other suspended players will not be returning. Antonio Callaway declared for the NFL Draft, while Richerd Desir-Jones, Jordan Smith, and Kadeem Telfort announced their intentions to leave Florida. Four of the nine credit card guys will be back on the team in 2018. From what I've heard it's unlikely Keivonnis Davis will be physically able to play football in 2018 based on the injuries he sustained in a scooter accident last September. #Gators

Mike White says “not a foregone conclusion” that John Egbunu will be back: I’m including that headline quote I keep seeing just to note that in full context White seems to be indicating that he isn’t overly focused on Egbunu’s return, and is planning for life without him until such time as he is cleared. White did note that Gorjok Gak should return, paving the way for some “Gaktion,” as he called it. (Ryan Young, SEC Country)
Florida vs. South Carolina previews: The Gators host the Gamecocks tonight, in the first meeting between the two teams since last season’s Elite Eight. (Chris Harry, Florida Gators; FOX Sports)

Jalen Hudson helping on both ends: The Virginia Tech transfer has been the Gators’ most consistent scorer, but has also made an impact on defense. (Kevin Brockway, Gainesville Sun)
Haley Lorenzen named SEC Player of the Week: Lorenzen had a double-double in both of Florida’s games last week that helped the Gators halt a five-game losing streak. (Kathy Cafazzo, Florida Gators)
Previewing UF’s defensive line: Ahead of National Signing Day, looking at how the Gators may fare in that position group in 2018. (David Wunderlich, Gator Country)
Florida offers E.J. Smith, son of Emmitt Smith: The class of 2020 running back prospect already holds offers from Ohio State and Georgia. (Alex Kirschner, SB Nation)
