Now that you can finally exhale after the Florida Gators emerged victorious from their wild afternoon with Vanderbilt, you may turn your attention to the rest of week seven’s slate of games - including a top-15 tilt between the Gators’ October rivals, Georgia and LSU.
Feel free to hang out in this thread while watching any of today’s games.
Here are our picks for today’s viewing windows:
Afternoon (3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern)
Georgia at LSU (3:30 p.m., CBS): The undefeated No. 2 Bulldogs travel to Baton Rouge for the first time since 2008 to take on the No. 13 Tigers. This is one of two ranked-on-ranked matchups featuring top-15 teams today, the other taking place in the evening slot.
Washington at Oregon (3:30 p.m., ABC/ESPN2): The annual Pac-12 showdown between the bitter rival Huskies and Ducks takes on more significance than usual with both teams being ranked. It’s only the third time that has happened since 2000.
Texas A&M at South Carolina (3:30 p.m., SECN): Permanent cross-divisional rivals South Carolina and Texas A&M meet for the fifth time. The Gamecocks are looking to notch their first ever win over the No. 22 Aggies.
In other games: Also at 3:30 p.m, you can see the always entertaining No. 10 UCF Knights at Memphis (ABC/ESPN2), Michigan State at No. 8 Penn State (BTN), and Baylor at No. 9 Texas (ESPN).
Evening (7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern)
Missouri at Alabama (7:00 p.m., ESPN) : The night shift kicks off with the No. 1 Crimson Tide hosting Missouri. Perhaps the Tigers will be able to score some points, like Arkansas did last week against Nick Saban’s squad, or perhaps the head coach’s displeasure with the Razorbacks’ offensive point total results in a tighter defensive effort.
Wisconsin at Michigan (7:30 p.m., ABC): The marquee evening game features the No. 15 Badgers at the No. 12 Wolverines. Both of these teams already sport a loss, but the loser here is probably all but eliminated from the playoff picture - though they could still reach the Big Ten title game.
Ole Miss at Arkansas (7:30 p.m., SECN): Should Alabama get on an early roll, and Wisconsin and Michigan be churning out an offensive struggle, this game could have potential to serve as a point-filled palate cleanser.
In other games: There are other ranked teams in action tonight too, including No. 16 Miami at Virginia (7:00 p.m., ESPN2), No. 6 West Virginia at Iowa State (7:00 p.m., FS1), and No. 19 Colorado at USC (10:30 p.m., FS1).
