Gator softball starts SEC tournament with Crimson Tide: Top-seed Florida will play eight seed Alabama in the quarterfinals of the SEC softball tournament tonight at 7:30 p.m. In early April, the Gators won their series (2-1) with the Tide in Tuscaloosa. Thursday night’s winner will play the winner of LSU-Tennessee in the tourney semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Friday. (Gainesville Sun)
