Florida commit Anthony Richardson shows out: Thanks to an odd Thursday night game, a few more media folks than usual were in attendance to see 2020 QB Richardson play for Gainesville’s Eastside High against Lake Weir — and he gave them a show.

Richardson would finish with those six scores in a 62-27 win — so close to a familiar score, there — over Lake Weir, and with his head coach calling him “special” and the other team’s head coach calling him “a phenomenal player.”

And he’s the junior QB committed to Florida.

Florida still looking for consistent defensive leadership: Missing David Reese has hurt. (Graham Hall, The Gainesville Sun)

David Reese expected to play vs. Tennessee: So this should help. (Mullen said this during his Thursday call-in show.)

Florida soccer rebounds at Kentucky: A 6-0 win on the road with four players scoring and one turning a hat trick is one way to end a losing skid. (Mary Howard, Florida Gators | River Wells, The Independent Florida Alligator)
