It’s been a while since the Florida Gators had a McDonald’s All-American on their roster.
But as of 2019, they will have not one but two burger boys in the fold.
Florida signees Scottie Lewis and Tre Mann were both named to the roster for the 2019 McDonald’s All-American Game on Thursday, with Lewis taking a spot on the East team and Mann getting slotted onto the West roster.

The rosters were revealed during an afternoon edition of ESPN’s NBA-focused show The Jump.
(While Lewis as on the East roster makes sense, as he’s from and attends school in New Jersey, Mann — who currently attends The Villages Charter School — playing for the West is a bit of a geographic stretch.)
Lewis and Mann are the first Florida recruits to be named McDonald’s All-Americans since 2013, when Floridians Kasey Hill and Chris Walker teamed together for the East, and are two-thirds of a recruiting class ranked inside the top 10 nationally. Both players signed with Florida in November, along with top-50 big man Omar Payne.
The 2019 McDonald’s All-American Games — there’s one for men and one for women — will take place in Atlanta on March 27.
