Florida moves up to No. 7 in Week 3 of SB Nation FanPulse Top 25

Oh, so you really weren’t that unimpressed by Florida beating Miami, huh?

A week after dropping from No. 8 to No. 11 in the SB Nation FanPulse Top 25, the Florida Gators are back in the top 10 — and a spot ahead of where they started.

The Gators’ 45-0 shutout of Tennessee-Martin — along with other national results — was enough for them to vault four spots to No. 7 in the Week 3 FanPulse Top 25.

That is the largest upward movement by any top-10 team from last week to this week, with only Michigan’s four-spot fall from No. 6 to No. 10 after its close call against Army matching it for total movement.

The national Top 25 also saw its first top-five shakeup of the year this week, with LSU rising one spot after its defeat of Texas to unseat Ohio State as No. 6.

Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, and Oklahoma remain the top four in that order. Notre Dame and Auburn sit at No. 8 and No. 9, respectively.

Our survey of Alligator Army readers who have signed up for FanPulse — which you can and should still do, mind you! — finds agreement with the national consensus, for the most part. Florida is now No. 7 in both orange-and-blue eyes and those of the nation, and Florida fans are also more bullish on LSU than some, pushing the Tigers to No. 4.

For comparison, the LSU fans from And The Valley Shook only have the Tigers one spot better, at No. 3, after their strong start.
