A closer-than-expected win over the Kentucky Wildcats has the Florida Gators dropping — yet again — in this week’s edition of the SB Nation FanPulse Top 25.

The Gators fell three spots from No. 7 to No. 10 after their 29-21 win at Kentucky, moving down after winning for the second time this season. Florida previously lost ground in the FanPulse Top 25 after its narrow win over Miami in a Week Zero clash, but had moved back up to No. 7 following a shutout of Tennessee-Martin.

The Gators were passed by No. 7 Notre Dame, No. 8 Auburn, and No. 9 Utah.

The top six teams remained largely unchanged, with the only difference from Week 3 being LSU supplanting Oklahoma at No. 4. Clemson, Alabama, and Georgia remain the top three in that order, while Ohio State rounds out the top six.

The cross-section of Alligator Army voters, on the other hand, was a little less moved by last weekend’s events. Florida fell, but only to No. 9, and got passed by Auburn and Notre Dame but not Utah.

Meanwhile, the confidence level for Alligator Army readers signed up for FanPulse dipped its lowest point this season, going from 100 percent of respondents saying they were confident in the direction of the program after Florida’s win over Tennessee-Martin to just 85 percent following last weekend. And since this week is the first one in which the line graph showing that confidence is more than just two points, I figured I’d add it here.
