New Year’s Day bowls and College Football Playoff open thread

A day full of college football to conclude a season of it probably won’t feel like such a guilty pleasure in a year.

It’s New Year’s Day! You know what that means: There’s a lot of college football on television today, even though the Peach Bowl is being played now and not on New Year’s Eve and the Rose Bowl isn’t actually being played in the Rose Bowl, or even California.

For those travesties and other reasons, I’m mostly not going to be watching today’s games, but maybe you will be, in between searching every social medium that exists for signs of what Todd Grantham’s future holds.
